The Voltic mod-set for Fender’s Hotrod/Blues Deluxe reimagines the amplifier as a “tiny” Twin Reverb and addresses many of the common issues that are associated with this circuit. In addition to this mod-set, we recommend a purchase of the Voltic ATA to provide a “master volume” to your amplifier’s clean channel.
Upgrade all power filter caps with high quality F&T/Jupiter
Upgrade low voltage power resistors with 5-watt Xicon/Yageo mounted above PCB
Upgrade power tube screen grid resistors with 3-5 watt Xicon/Yageo mounted above PCB
Upgrade reverb circuit to allow more usable sweep of the “Reverb” control
Upgrade rubber speaker cable jack with high quality Switchcraft jack
Twin Tone Modification
Replacement tubes and other repair costs that may arise are not included in the cost of this service.
