Smalls Fuzz is a three-silicon-transistor circuit that pays homage to the gritty, mind-expanding tones of early New York City psych rock. From warm and woolly textures to harsh, treble-boosted tones, this fuzz delivers a dynamic range of sounds that ensure you’ll cut through the mix. With a uniquely responsive treble boost/cut control, Smalls Fuzz offers incredible tonal shaping, making it one of the most versatile fuzz pedals on the market. And with an immense amount of volume on tap, it’s just as comfortable pushing your amp as it is serving as your main dirt sound.
We offer two distinct versions to suit different tonal preferences:
Symmetrical Silicon Clipping Diodes – The stock configuration of Smalls Fuzz, featuring silicon diodes that deliver aggressive, articulate fuzz. As you turn up the fuzz knob, expect rich saturation with plenty of sustain and bite.
Symmetrical Germanium Clipping Diodes – For those seeking a smoother, more compressed response, this version swaps in germanium diodes, introducing a natural roll-off in high and low frequencies. The result is a softer attack and a more vintage, velvety fuzz character.
