Tone Tailors x Voltic Electronic Devices

We have had an incredibly busy summer here at Voltic, whether it be launching collaborations with local stores, traveling to trade shows or preparing for the Fretboard Summit (more on that later). On a recent scenic drive through Amish country on our way back from Chicago, my wife and I decided to stop in at legendary local music store: Tone Tailors. For those that don’t know, Tone Tailors is a part of the greater Rock Lititz compound where many of the world’s largest rock bands get ready to go out on tour. It’s impossible to overstate how important this area is to the music industry and just how cool it feels to be there, it’s akin to being on a movie studio tour at Universal — you might not know what exactly is happening but you know that you’re in the presence of something great.
The store itself is very impressive and features an expansive main room with guitars by some of the most acclaimed modern builders, including John Suhr and Bill Nash, and their staff is as noteworthy as their gear selection. Glenn, who was waiting on customers, and, Chad, one of the co-owners, were both genuinely excited and passionate about music, as well as warm and receptive to being pitched by a small builder. Thanks so much for the opportunity guys! It was great to hear everyone seriously shredding on our pedals. Since we build all of our pedals by hand on strip-board, and this is such a time consuming process, we’re very picky about which stores we allow to stock our wares. We look for places that are dedicated to serving their community and have staff who are in it for the love of great gear. Tone Tailors checked all of these boxes right out the gate, and I believe that this will be a truly special partnership.
